How often should I bring my car in for an inspection?

We recommend an annual inspection or every 15,000–20,000 km. For older vehicles (10+ years), an inspection every 10,000 km or twice a year is advisable. Always also follow the manufacturer's recommendations in your service book.

What's the difference between an annual and a periodic inspection?

An annual inspection covers standard service intervals — oil and filter change and checking the main systems. A periodic inspection, typically every 2 years, is extended to include longer-interval components: the engine timing system, clutch, brake fluid and transmission oil.

Can I bring my car in for an inspection even if it's still under warranty?

Yes. Under the EU Block Exemption Regulation, you can have a vehicle under warranty serviced at any independent garage, not only an authorised dealer. The condition is following the manufacturer's prescribed procedure and using parts of equivalent quality.

How long does an inspection take?

A standard annual inspection including an oil change takes 1 to 1.5 hours. A periodic inspection with an extended scope can take 2–3 hours.

Do you service older vehicles or less common makes?

Yes, we service all makes of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, regardless of age, including less common European, Asian and American makes.
